Shingo & I drove up to the Tetons this week to try to run up some stuff pretty fast- first plan was to do the Exum Ridge in a day. That's 5.4 miles up (6,000 ft elevation gain) to the lower saddle and over a thousand feet of climbing to the top. We made it to the lower saddle in good time, but when we looked over in to Idaho, the rain was clearly on the way. So, we decided to head down. Halfway down, blue skies broke out of the clouds and we were bummed. Maybe it was a good day to be a slacker...get up late....hike slow....

Self Portrait: I don't like killer wildlife to be too close. There was supposed to be a bear somewhere near the trail...
We came back home a day early and did Sundial Peak as a second choice.
