Shingo Update

Shingo called last night and we had a nice little 6 minute conversation, and it only took 3 lost connections (insert sarcasm). They are doing well; they climbed some amazing splitter (one-pitch) that was too good to pass up, and got about one pitch from the top of something else when a rogue lightening bolt scared the shit out of them. I believe there is video footage of that exciting moment. The weather is getting colder and crappier so I think they have their sights set on a couple of smaller things, but unless they get like a five day weather window, they aren't going to go for anything super big. Shingo also got food poisoned again and had to take the Cipro(sp?) and got better much faster than the first week poisoning. They will be leaving basecamp on the 10th and then waiting in Skardu until they can fly- there will be no jeep ride, thank goodness.  They wanted to make sure they get there in time to wait a day or two if need be. That's all!

School started and things are getting busy for me again. Less time for fun stuff, but I'm still going to try to fit it in here and there.
