I have been leading a boring life, and so there have not been many updates this month. However, we did celebrate Shingo's 31st birthday! For those of you that don't know, Shingo does not like birthdays all that much. I am trying to slowly change his mind by not making a big deal, but still having a special dinner and a few festivities. Casey and Erin came over...
and I made dinner, and we had a lovely, low key night!
Shingo got the BBC's "Life in Cold Blood" and a bottle of PATRON tequila!
I made one of Shingo's favorites: Curried pork tenderloin with a butternut squash "ragout". I also made a mache salad with sauteed shitake mushrooms, local goat cheese, and a meyer lemon citrus vinigarette.
Dessert was a lovely 2 layer tiramisu cake!
